Play and Stay at Dyserth
hits!

Pics this way!
This is the play area behind Thomas Avenue, between the Sports Pavilion and King George's playing field.
Currently, the Community Council look after it and pay for its maintenance. You may or may not be surprised to find out that this costs quite a bit! In the early part of 2017, the skate ramps, which were positioned to the right of these photos, were broken and therefore removed.

The Community Council looked into removing the centre fence, therefore freeing up more space, and using that extra space to add more play equipment.
Unfortunately, the quotes obtained came to more than their annual budget for the whole village!
So it was decided to create a Sub-Committee of the Council, comprising of two Councillors along with members of the public, for the purpose of fundraising and organising an upgrade of the play area.
We're hoping to raise enough to revamp the whole site; after that, we will need a percentage of that cost each year for upkeep and maintenance work.
